The time has come and we’re ready to kick off contract negotiations!

Starting mid-December, our bargaining team will meet with the County to advocate for the priorities set by CAPE members in our bargaining survey.

Our initial sessions will focus primarily on introductions, setting ground rules, scheduling discussions around salary inequities, and presenting our initial proposals. This is just the beginning of our journey to secure a strong contract to secure good raises, improved telework protections, and career advancement opportunities.

Our 2024-2025 CAPE Bargaining Team is ready to head into negotiations, representing every CAPE member and building on the hard-won progress we’ve achieved. With the rising costs of living and the evolving demands of our jobs, our Bargaining Team is committed to advocating for meaningful improvements in wages, telework policies, and workplace safety.

Congratulations to the newly appointed members of our 2024-2025 CAPE Contract Bargaining Team!
