Dear CAPE Member:

An abundance of caution has led the CAPE Board of Directors to determine that revised ballots for the Board of Directors election will be sent to members as soon as possible.

The initial ballots mailed to CAPE members on 7/22/2019 contained errors that would have precluded an accurate election.

After a long delay and countless requests, on Monday, July 15, CAPE finally received draft Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) from the County of Los Angeles for our bargaining Units. We are now working expeditiously to validate the language – particularly the salary numbers – so that we can send ballots to CAPE members for Contract Ratification.

Thank you for your continued patience.

Carlos Clayton, P. E. President, CAPE
