CAPE Celebrates Union Night at Dodger Stadium

To close out the “Hot Labor Summer” of 2023, CAPE joined hundreds of our brothers and sisters in other unions and labor allies at Dodger Stadium to celebrate this year’s Union Night where the Dodgers shut out the San Francisco Giants.

Nicole Mi is a Programs and Operations Manager in Public Works, a CAPE member, and our CAPE-endorsed candidate for the LACERA Board of Investments.

Now more than ever it’s critical that we elect LACERA board members with the knowledge, passion, and commitment to help guarantee and secure our retirement. Nicole Mi will be a strong advocate for CAPE members, and is also endorsed by SEIU 721 and LACERA BOI Trustee Herman Santos.

Our 2023 CAPE Board of Directors election has come to an early close. 

After careful consideration and consultation with our attorneys, our CAPE Election Committee is pleased to report that all candidates, having passed the necessary requirements for eligibility, are therefore duly elected without a contest because only five candidates ran for five vacant seats.
