On Friday, October 30, CAPE members can expect to see two big wins from our new contract: a 2% pay raise and a $2,000 contract bonus!
These gains are a direct result of what we accomplished together in our new contract. Every day, CAPE members are working around the clock to keep L.A. County families safe, and we’re proud to see these contract wins become real dollars in our paycheck.
The 2% pay raise officially took effect October 1 and will be reflected in our October 30 paycheck due to the County’s payroll schedule. The $2,000 bonus is also expected to be processed for that paycheck.
These gains are part of the contract we fought for and won together. Now, it’s time to see those wins reflected in our paychecks!
A few important reminders:
- The 2% raise applies to current CAPE members, including eligible members hired after the contract was ratified.
- The $2,000 bonus is for employees who were CAPE members when the contract was ratified. Employees hired after ratification are not eligible for the bonus.
