Attention members enrolled in the Choices Delta Dental PPO Plan! The LA Coalition of County Unions and your Union want to inform you that those enrolled in the Delta Dental PPO plan for 2022 will not see a dental payroll deduction on their pay stubs for the next few months.
You heard right, the LA Coalition of County Unions and your Union have negotiated with management and Delta Dental to provide members with a 3-month premium holiday per the following deduction periods:
Cafeteria Benefits Plan | Dates with No Delta Dental PPO Payroll Deduction |
Choices | March 15, 2022, April 15, 2022, and May 15, 2022 |
During these months your Delta Dental PPO coverage will be continued, uninterrupted, and your monthly deduction may be reduced, or your taxable cash may be increased. Please note, members already receiving the maximum taxable cash limit of $244 per month on their paychecks will not see a difference in the amount of taxable cash they receive as a result of this premium holiday.
The following text will appear on your paychecks, for those who still receive them, and on the paystub carousel, where you go to download your paystub if you receive direct deposits:
- Employees Enrolled in Delta Dental PPO! No paycheck deduction was taken on March 15, 2022.
- Choices, Flex, and MegaFlex Participants Enrolled in Delta Dental PPO! No paycheck deduction was taken on April 15, 2022.
- Choices Participants Enrolled in Delta Dental PPO! No paycheck deduction was taken on May 15, 2022.
Please be advised that this 3-month premium holiday only applies to the Delta Dental PPO plan, any members enrolled in the DeltaCare HMO or MetLife (Safeguard) HMO plans will not see a change to their taxable cash or monthly deduction.
