Candidate’s Statement:
I am Miguel Garcia. I have been a CAPE member and Public Works employee for 36 years. I have many years of experience with CAPE Union activities; I served on the negotiation team on four different occasions, worked to update the CAPE by-laws, and have been a team member of our delegate program. I do not concern myself with politics; my focus is results, to resolve membership issues and concerns. I am very pragmatic; always working to resolve union concerns. I am a fiscal conservative. I will continue to work toward strengthening our union and advancing our cause. I am asking everyone to get involved in supporting our union in any way possible. Presently, I serve as a CAPE Board Director. I humbly ask that you trust me to continue to work for the good of our union. Lastly, I ask for your support and vote to continue serving our membership.
