This free three-day workshop is for union members who want to learn how to better serve the union and its membership.
The institute takes place May 3rd to May 5th, Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor.
The interactive curriculum and workshops will cover:
- • One on one communications skills.
- • Moving workers to action.
- • Receiving and providing leadership development.
- • Movements for social and economic justice.
- • Organizing campaign techniques.
