Deadline for Technical Support Unit Members' Contract Negotiations Survey is February 12, 2014
The current multi-year contract MOU governing the salary, benefits, and working conditions for CAPE's Technical Support Bargaining Unit members of the Sanitation Districts will expire on June 30, 2014. Our bargaining unit representatives are already in the preparatory stages for the contract negotiations with Sanitation Districts' representatives later this spring.
To help us prepare for the upcoming contract negotiations, CAPE recently mailed a contract negotiations Survey to all Technical Support Unit members. Their completed Surveys must be returned in the business reply envelope provided and received at the CAPE P.O. Box no later than February 12th.
CAPE's written request to commence the negotiations for a successor MOU for the Technical Support Unit, as well as our initial contract proposals covering all non-salary items, must be submitted to Sanitation Districts' Management by February 15th. All of CAPE's salary-related contract proposals for the successor MOU are due no later than March 15th. Formal contract negotiations are expected to commence shortly thereafter.
