CAPE members, families, and friends gathered in Long Beach last Saturday morning for our Harbor Cruise Takeover, and what a fantastic day it was.
While CAPE is always working to protect members on the job, events like the Harbor Cruise remind us that our union is about more than contracts and workplace issues. It's about the relationships we build, the support we provide one another, and the community we create together. Seeing members share the experience with their spouses, partners, children, and friends made the day even more special.
A strong union is built on strong connections, and opportunities like the Harbor Cruise help strengthen the bonds that unite us across departments, worksites, and professions. Whether members came for the scenery, the food, the chance to spend time with family, or simply to meet fellow CAPE members, the event offered something for everyone.
