The votes are in, and CAPE members have spoken loud and clear.
By a vote of 95% YES, members have overwhelmingly ratified our new CAPE Memorandum of Understanding/contract with Los Angeles County.
Nearly 52% of members participated in this ratification vote, one of the strongest levels of member engagement in CAPE's recent history.

This agreement delivers meaningful gains for CAPE members while protecting the integrity of our contract with ZERO concessions.

What’s Next?
- Members will receive the $5,000 ratification bonus within 45 days.
- The agreement will now move to the Board of Supervisors for final approval and formal signing.
- In the coming months, CAPE will continue updating members on opportunities to engage through the new Joint Labor Management Committee (JLMC) as we continue important conversations on critical issues important to our members.
