Appraisers CAPE Members: Implementation Date For Proposed New Appraiser Classification And Salary Range

Several Appraiser Members have asked what would be the implementation date for the proposed new Appraiser classification and its new salary range if the CAPE Members whose classifications are in the Appraisers Unit vote to ratify their proposed successor Unit’s Memorandum of Understanding?

The Board of Supervisors legally must approve the new Appraiser class specification and its salary range before it could be implemented. We have been advised that if CAPE Members ratify the proposed successor Appraisers Unit’s Memorandum of Understanding the CEO plans to present both the Memorandum of Understanding and the new Appraiser class specification and its new salary range to the Supervisors for their approval at the same Board meeting. We will not have the date when the CEO presents the Memorandum of Understanding and the new Appraiser classification specification and its new salary range until we have notified the CEO of CAPE Members’ ratification of the Memorandum of Understanding and CEO places these matters on a Board meeting agenda.
