CAPE members, families, and friends gathered in Long Beach last Saturday morning for our Harbor Cruise Takeover, and what a fantastic day it was.

This Labor Day, I am proud to stand with every CAPE member in honoring the generations of workers who fought for dignity, fairness, and justice. The rights we enjoy today – fair pay, safe working conditions, benefits, and a voice on the job – were all won because working people came together and refused to give up.

The following five candidates have been elected to a two-year term beginning at the September 2025 CAPE Board meeting on September 11, 2025:

We have officially filed Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) charges against L.A. County Assessor Jeff Prang and the County for violating our contract and state labor law.
